“Passion in Color”

I see and feel “Passion in Color!”

I see a vast assortment of colors that inspires me and that generates my profound desire to capture those images and to fully express those tones, hues, and shades to the canvass. Emotions are unleashed as the exciting colors, images, and light spark and arouse passion.

When light and color come together, the marriage of these two forces produce dynamism and they stir and ignite our passions. Indeed, passion in art is represented by color. When this happens…words fall short to describe the experience. We then learn the language of color.

I am fascinated by the changes in light and shadows and the impact this has on color in my art. The shades and diversity in color is simply limitless. I observe that slight variations in mixing my paint will produce a specific color that begins to evoke feelings and excitement as I apply the color to the canvass.

Our mind often becomes conditioned by its intellect, patterns, and reason and misses some of the beauty and pleasure that comes from the colors in our world. Passions break these thoughts and patterns and produces energy and emotion that excites, arouses, and enlightens our spirit.

Light with brilliant and vibrant colors, which are expressed on the canvass, impact our minds and ignite our passions. Contemplate and have faith that you can see, feel, and experience the shades of color on my canvasses. You will see movement and the slow burning embers of passion will begin to unfold and erupt. Beyond the normal limits of imagination, the warmth of color can unleash the passions and emotions empowering us and seemingly making anything seem possible.
